I can’t say enough about this restaurant but I’ll give it a shot. We will definitely be back. The oysters and charcuterie board were amazing. That along with the service and great drinks this place hit on all levels. It’s a little pricey but well worth it. It has a cool vibe so if you’re looking for a restaurant like that then definitely pay them a visit. Also they didn’t offer a military discount. So like I said we came back and Tessa was amazing. She was fun and had some great recommendations. This establishment is great and a must hands down the best on 12 south. YouTube channel Steven Reactz

My husband took me here for my birthday on a cold rainy October evening. The building itself is very aesthetically pleasing. We were seated semi outside with a couple heaters above us which was wonderful for me (I’m always cold). We didn’t have appetizers but the server brought us some bread and butter with jam. We don’t eat bread as we are on carnivore but I took a small taste. It was light fluffy and flaky but not silt of flavor. Not complaining just giving my opinion. Then he got the full New York strip and I got the special of pan seared halibut with pumpkin pasta and goat cheese. His steak was cooked to perfection the way he likes it (medium rare) , and my halibut was delicious. It didn’t have much flavor alone but eating it with the goat cheese and baby spinach it was great. (Didn’t eat the pasta). All in all it was worth the price and maybe I would’ve raved about it more if I ate a variety of foods. I can’t say I will go back but I also can’t say I won’t go back. Service was ok. She didnt bother us but also wasn’t the most attentive, as we sat with empty glasses for a while.

Review for July 26th visit. We came in later in the evening. We didn't have a reservation, yet they had seating for us outside. Being seated in the outdoor seating under the fan was a blessing, kept us cool. The oysters and trout were delicious, the scallops and mushrooms as well, and the popovers were so buttery and scrumptious. Both of our cocktails were delicious. Our waiter was attentive and cheerful, made the experience even better. Would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Where do I even start, our waitress Whisper was phenomenal and so attentive. She recommended dishes & drinks and they did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere was nice. We would definitely be back.

The food is amazing! I've been here twice and everything was top notch!!! The aged steak is one of the best steaks I have ever had! The service is aweosme. Fun atmosphere. Def a must try !!!

My wife and I had dinner at Urban Grub. It was a Thursday evening, and the restaurant was packed. The free valet parking was a welcomed service as it was pouring rain when we arrived. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Our server, Erin, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. We ordered: oysters Rockefeller, the charcuterie board, scallops with pumpkin pasta/goat cheese, collards, baked Mac n cheese, and the double cut pork chop. For dessert, we got the espresso chocolate dessert. Our least favorite was probably the oysters Rockefeller (they were good, but not special) or the baked Mac n cheese (a little dry/greasy). The pork was amazing (winner of the night). The charcuterie board was also delicious. The dessert was incredibly tasty as well. After ordering three drinks, our total was $120 per person before tip. We will likely return next time we are in Nashville to try some more of the diverse menu. Highly recommend and ask for Erin to be your server!

Our group of five had an unforgettable experience at Urban Grub in Nashville! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the trendy, welcoming vibe and lively atmosphere. It’s clear why this spot is so popular, it hits the perfect balance of upscale and relaxed. We started our evening at the charcuterie and oyster bar, which was the perfect kickoff. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the drinks were top-notch. The attention to detail and quality in the small bites and beverages alone set the tone for a great night. Once seated in the dining area, we ordered a variety of dishes that absolutely delivered on flavor and presentation. Two of us had the shrimp and grits, creamy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with Southern charm. One ordered the Springer Mountain all-natural chicken, which was juicy, tender, and beautifully plated. The two Club Carbonara dishes were a hit as well, rich, savory, and satisfying without being too heavy. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and every course arrived in perfect rhythm. Urban Grub is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a stylish setting. Whether you’re local or just visiting, this spot should be on your Nashville dining

My husband and I dined here on my birthday weekend looking for something different and memorable—and that’s exactly what we got. Our waitress, Arielle, was incredibly attentive and offered great recommendations that made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh and full of authentic flavor. We came with an appetite, tried a little bit of everything, and left completely satisfied and happy. A wonderful dining experience all around!
